Very authentic food. So many vegetarian and non vegetarian options. This place got so many Indian food kinds too . The curries tastes very good. And Vjaywada biryani is the best one. Though it has small dining space if you are craving for some delicious food this is your place to go. The prices of food and the portion size is very reasonable. I have never been disappointed with the items I tried here.

This was deeply mediocre. Goat is always bony, but this was ridiculous, and there was barely even any curry. It also took way, way too long. I'm not sure exactly when we ordered, but it was at least 45 minutes for 2 dishes. I was catching up with an old friend, so I only say that for the review. The server was pretty good as was the ambience. If I lived closer, I would give it another shot, but this is not deserving of its rating. Also, you're an Indian restaurant in a university town. You need to remove the LLM residue from your menu description.

Food was absolutely amazing! First time having authentic Indian street food and it was well past my good expectation. I got the bhari puri and the butter masala dosa, I cant even explain how good they were! I live an hour away and will be taking this drive again to try the different foods they have. Then after I finished what I could I got the mango lassi(to die for) Service was amazing 1000/10 recommend. I would've taken pictures but the food was tooooo good to wait

Stopped by on a Saturday evening for dinner. Brought the whole family (wife and 2 small children) no issues with seating and staff was friendly with the kids. Ordered two appetizers and split the weekend special Fried Chicken Biryani. Food was made fast and fresh and staff made sure we were taken care of. Good portions so we had leftovers to take home. My wife liked the ABC Paneer so much we had to get another order to go. If you're in Chapel Hill and want Indian, this is a great place to try.

The New Bharath Cafe is a great addition to Chapel Hill’s restaurant scene. My family and I had an amazing time trying their delicious dishes. The curry leaf baby corn was crispy and full of flavor, and the ABC paneer was definitely a highlightβ€”it’s no wonder it’s called the chef’s special. The samosas, with their tasty potato filling, were cooked perfectly and paired really well with the mint chutney. For the main course, the goat curry was tender and flavorful, and the Karaikudi chicken curry had such authentic spices that it reminded me of being in India. The Vijayawada biryani was incredibleβ€”probably the best biryani I’ve had in townβ€”and the ghee roast mutton biryani was equally fantastic. The butter chicken with chapathi was creamy and paired perfectly with the fresh chapathis. We ended the meal with the gulab jamun cutlet, which was a unique and tasty dessert. Overall, the food was amazing, the flavors were authentic, and the service was great. The New Bharath Cafe is definitely worth a visit, and we can’t wait to go back! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ˜πŸ˜
